STORY-LINE WILDFLOWERS BY EMMA HARPER:

In Wildflowers, authored by Emma Harper, the reader will find bonus content containing 12 delightful stories.  I chose to review the bonus story entitled Bridget And The Lonely Rancher.  Bridget’s father decided to send her and her sister, Lydia, to America to escape the poverty of Ireland.  To ensure her safety, she posed as a widow with a small daughter.  She became a teacher, but life was hard in the tenements.  When a rival from Ireland informs the Catholic board she was never married, no one would listen to the real story.  Everyone turned their back on her, including her tenement neighbors.  Knowing her life can’t get any worse, she finds an unconventional answer to her problems.

Answering an ad for a mail-order bride to mother four small children and help on the farm, they travel to Wyoming.  Met by Carlton Briggs, three small children, and a baby, Bridget finds herself wrapped in the arms of love by the children.  Not so much by Carlton, who was not expecting another child.  Through attraction, trials, tribulations, villains, and death, they forge a relationship. However, Bridget is not the only one hiding secrets, Carlton’s life is closed and filled with secrets.  Will these two let go of the past and grab the future by both hands?

When the farm and town are threatened, Carlton must make decisions which will change his life.  Will he make the right choice?  Or will he allow evil to win?   My romance book reviews follow.

STORY-LINE COWBOY CHARADE RODEO KNIGHTS BY BARBARA MCMAHON:

In Cowboy Charade Rodeo Knights by author Barbara McMahon, we find Susannah Davis and Toby Palmer, joining forces to find the drug smugglers using the rodeo as a source of transportation.  Susannah’s an accomplished barrel racer trying to make the finals in Las Vegas.  She works hard, making a promise to herself to would never again become involved with a rodeo cowboy;  rodeo cowboys lead to heart ache.

Toby Palmer and his partner, Kyle, are winning and placing high in the rodeo standings;  saving for a ranch they have their eyes set on the big money in the rodeo finals in Las Vegas.  When Kyle’s in a wreck, cocaine’s found in the door panel of his truck.    Susannah and Toby join forces to find the culprits.  Not only has Kyle’s truck been used as transportation, Susannah’s truck also has drugs stashed in the door.

Calling in Jessie Knight, private investigator and past rodeo companion, to ferret out the villain or villains and prove Kyle innocence, Toby and Susannah decide to play a couple.  Susannah has trust issues and Toby has no plans for a woman in his life.  But fate has different ideas for these two. STORY-LINE WILDFIRE BY EMMA HARPER:

In Wildfire by author Emma Harper, the reader finds a sweet western romance which includes bonus content of 15 other stories.   In the first story, Wildfire, we find Clara Southerby.  Clara’s looking for adventure, not marriage to a cruel old man, Sheldon Niles.  Niles doesn’t want Clara for herself, but as a brood mare he can control and use for his unseemly desires.  Thinking he can force marriage upon Clara, she foils him by running to the western states.  As a result, Niles not to be made a fool, sends his henchmen after her.

At the end of her journey, the first person Clara meets is handsome Captain Jason Halerow.  He’s the darling of all the ladies.  Meanwhile, telling a small lie to get the job she needs, Clara’s lie will come back to haunt her. Clara, no simpering miss, hired as ranch foreman for the Holmes Ranch, finds her niche.  Independent, fierce, and strong, will Clara and Jason manage to forge a relationship?  Will Niles henchmen tear Clara’s from her new happy life?  My reviews for romance novel, Wildfire, follows.

Author Kfir Luzzatto created an action packed thriller in his novel Exodus ’95.  Claire Williams befriends an elderly neighbor, Jack Jones, who proposes an unbelievable proposition.  Saying yes to this sweet old man will change Claire’s life forever.  Dan Ze’evi, former Israeli soldier, owns a small failing company.  Approached by a Russian offering a wealth of money for a large part of the company, Dan’s decision will change everything he knows.  Two people brought together on one adventure for which the world is not ready.

On the hunt for the fabled staff of Moses, said to have indescribable power, Dan and Claire, on the run from villains in every corner, form a bond.  Can Claire and Dan finish their mission before Claire’s body gives out and the fanatics and villains win the day?  My reviews for thriller suspense novel, Exodus ’95 follows.

Firstly, I must say what an action packed thrill ride awaits the reader in Exodus ’95.  Author Kfir Luzzatto grabs the reader immediately, sinks the hook in deep, and never let’s go.  Filled with action around every corner, with twists and turns totally unexpected, this is a spine tingling novel.  Luzzatto created believable characters even though the
