Strong powerful cowboy characters, strong independent women!
A Blind Bride for the Rebellious Cowboy: Benson Creek Mail Order Brides by Emma Morgan is a story of love.
Ms. Morgan has taken a secondary character in the other books and made him the focus of this story.
Tim Benson has ordered a mail order bride, Rebecca; his future bride is blind. Ms. Morgan instilled in Tim some very unlikable traits. He is spoiled, thought to be a troublemaker by many, rebellious and irresponsible. Ms. Morgan paired Tim with a strong-minded woman with Christian values. Tim’s future bride may be blind but she is no shrinking violet. I think Ms. Morgan gave Tim the perfect future bride, who may just make a man out of him, if she doesn’t worry him to death first.
Character, Plotting, And Development:
The situations Ms. Morgan creates for Tim and Rebecca are very funny; Tim loses Rebecca the very first day. I laughed and laughed when he found her. Oh my, Rebecca is an independent woman, she doesn’t take any gruff from Tim and I want a Maine Coon cat like Sally and Jeb owned. Rebecca became the new owner of the Maine Coon. As usual Ms. Morgan’s pacing and plotting were great and her development of Tim’s character was wonderful. Tim will grow and become the man he was always meant to become.
This is a wonderful story. Ms Morgan created the perfect mate for Tim. Will Rebecca and Tim come to terms with each other? You will have to read the book to find out. I enjoyed following of their journey.I recommend this book to anyone that loves a good clean solid romance.
